Who We Are

Who We Are

Caterham Tree Surgeons is a professional tree surgery company based in Caterham, Surrey. We carry out the full range of tree surgery and arboricultural work, from crown reduction and deadwooding to complete tree removal and stump grinding, for homeowners, landlords, and commercial clients across Caterham and the wider Surrey Hills area.

Every member of our team holds current NPTC certification, covering chainsaw operations, aerial climbing, and safe working practices. We carry full public liability insurance to a minimum of £5 million, so you are fully protected on every job we undertake.

We serve Caterham, Warlingham, Whyteleafe, Kenley, Woldingham, Old Coulsdon, Chaldon, and the surrounding Surrey countryside.

Our Commitment

Our Commitment

All our tree work follows BS3998:2010, the British Standard for arboricultural practice. That means pruning cuts are made to the correct specification, crown reductions are carried out to a suitable growth point, and no more than 30% of live crown is removed in a single operation. We give trees the best possible chance of a healthy recovery.

We advise on Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area requirements, liaising with Tandridge District Council where consent is needed before work can begin. You get honest guidance before any contract is signed.

We also keep pricing simple. For most jobs we can give you a fast, accurate written quote from a few photos of your trees, so there is often no need to arrange a site visit before you know the cost. Where access or complexity calls for it, we will book a visit at a time that suits you.
